IPAF y el IRSST, el organismo gestor de las políticas preventivas de la Comunidad de Madrid, han organizado el día 23 de mayo unas jornadas sobre seguridad en el manejo de PEMP, en el que además contaremos con el simulador de realidad virtual de PEMP, y una furgoneta para hacer demostraciones de caídas en altura.

Las plataformas elevadoras móviles de personal (PEMPs/PTAs) se utilizan a menudo para realizar trabajos en zonas donde hay riesgo de aplastamiento o atrapamiento para los ocupantes de la plataforma. Toda actividad en la que intervengan PEMPs/PTAs debe planificarse y gestionarse adecuadamente. No hacerlo puede provocar lesiones o la muerte de los ocupantes de la plataforma.
