MEWP Operator Training
The IPAF MEWP Operator Training Course is for anyone who needs to safely and effectively operate a MEWP in any machine category.
Also, anyone who may be required to supervise or rescue an operator would benefit from completing this course. This is an entry-level course; candidates do not need any prior experience of operating a MEWP.
The qualification, represented by the iconic IPAF Powered Access Licence (PAL) Card, is recognized worldwide as a sign of high-quality operator training.
The course consists of a theory section and test, followed by practical training and a test at an IPAF Approved Training Center. The theory section can be taken either as eLearning, in-person, or virtually.
Duration of the course varies from one to three days, depending on candidate experience, machine complexity, and the number of machine category modules selected. It can vary from one to three days. (One day is a minimum of seven hours.)
A PAL Card and certificate are issued to candidates via ePAL (IPAF's operator app) upon successful completion of this course.
