Never elevate the platform occupants from the ground controls.

There is an increased risk of crushing/entrapment if you elevate people from the ground control position.

As part of IPAF's Andy Access campaign promoting the safe use of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), mast climbing work platforms (MCWPs), and Construction Hoists, contractors, end-users, and rental firms are encouraged to download the free poster artwork and Toolbox Talks for use in their everyday operations.

The Andy Access posters were created to communicate the valuable learning outcomes identified from the IPAF accident reporting project, as well as to reinforce the key messages covered in IPAF's training programmes.
