WIPA networking event

Following the success of IPAF’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiative launched in 2022, the Women in Powered Access (WIPA) group are set to host a second networking event under the theme ‘Empower & Elevate’

The networking session will be held on November 7, from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, offering an ideal opportunity for networking and building new connections as part of IPAF’s UK Elevation event.

Open to all IPAF members, attendees can enjoy coffee and sweet treats while engaging with likeminded industry peers. Versalift UK will share their experience in the powered access sector, including insights from diverse roles within the company, as they launch exciting, relevant case stories.

Jo Power, IPAF Head of Membership and Communications, commented: “Following the success of the networking breakfast at APEX, we are delighted to host the second Women in Powered Access networking event with our UK members, further building on the work IPAF has carried out in relation to EDI initiatives. We look forward to connecting with members in attendance.”

Lisa Bailey, IPAF’s HR Business Partner, will speak to the group on the importance of mentoring, introducing available mentors and encouraging potential mentees’ involvement. She will also discuss the overall progress of the WIPA initiative since its launch in May 2022, and the networking opportunities it offers.

This free event is the ideal platform for fostering meaningful industry relationships and personal development. Don't miss out—come along and be part of the conversation shaping the future of Women in Powered Access!
