The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is delighted to announce the IPAF Asia Conference 2024, a premier two-day event scheduled for 1-2 August at the Renaissance Nanjing Olympic Centre Hotel. This event promises to be an insightful gathering of the global powered access community, offering opportunities to learn, network, and share best practices.

The upcoming two-day conference promises a series of engaging presentations and activities. It will commence with an opening speech by the Ministry of Emergency Management, followed by addresses from local government and IPAF CEO & Managing Director Peter Douglas. IPAF representative for China Tim Mo will present the IPAF Global Safety Report and launch the 'Crushing Kills' campaign. IPAF’s Romina Vanzi and Susan Xu, Sinoboom CEO, will emphasise safety and collaboration, while Stefano Scapin will highlight the competitive advantage of safety. Martin Wraith will provide a tutorial on optimising rental businesses with proven standards.  

The afternoon session will feature Brian Parker's insights on the new EU Machinery Regulation, a comparative analysis of the MEWP rental market by Roseline Zhang, and a panel discussion on challenges and opportunities in the Asia MEWP industry moderated by Karin Sun. The session will conclude with talks on enhancing MEWP safety through digitalisation by Zhu Jiayu and incorporating safety in construction projects by Jeff Wang. The day will conclude with a gala dinner. 

The second day will start with an outdoor machine demonstration, followed by an IPAF Overhead Entrapment Workshop, and conclude with a lunch session.
