IPAF appoints new auditor for the UK

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has appointed Andrew Pollard as a new auditor to monitor training quality in the UK. 

Andrew brings to IPAF a wealth of expertise, with more than 35 years of involvement in the plant and access industry, coupled with over 15 years dedicated to health and safety training. Holding qualifications such as the Nebosh Diploma, CAP Assessor, Lead Auditor, SSIP Assessor, as well as National and International CPC (Road Transport Law), his credentials and proficiency for the role are evident.  

IPAF’s Audit team audits its training centres to ensure that IPAF requirements are met on a consistent basis throughout the world. 

IPAF carries out initial inspections of facilities followed by instructor assessments, IPAF Rental+ audits, telephone audits, annual surveillance audits, unannounced visits and telephone audits. 

All team members have experience in the powered access industry and are accredited ISO 9001 lead auditors or equivalent. 

IPAF Audit Manager Katrin Blau said: “Andy has over three decades of experience in the plant and access industry and his wealth of Health and Safety training expertise will be of great benefit to the wider team. 

“We are all looking forward to working with Andy who will help support our members to ensure IPAF standards are upheld and welcoming him to the Audit department.”
