  • The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Cameron Reid as the new Chair of the Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWP) & Hoist International Committee. In his new role, Reid will lead IPAF’s mission to promote the safe and effective use of Mast Climbing Work Platforms and Construction Hoists worldwide through technical expertise, guidance, and training to meet industry standards and regulations.

Taking place in Dublin on March 13 2025, the IAPAs celebrate excellence in the powered access industry. The past three IAPAs (London 2022, Berlin 2023, Copenhagen 2024) were all sell-out events.   • The Working at Height Conference & Awards, created and organized by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and Access, Lift & Handlers (ALH) magazine, will take place on November 20 at Music City Center in Nashville. This new event, which combines IPAF’s annual North American Innovate event and ALH’s long-standing ALH Conference & Awards, will highlight the use of aerial platforms to improve site productivity and safety.

  • The IPAF Middle East Conference, hosted at the Radisson Blu Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre, brought together industry professionals from around the world for a day of knowledge sharing, industry insights, and networking opportunities.

  • The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) supports European Rental Week, taking place from 14th to 20th October 2024. European Rental Week is an annual event that promotes the benefits and importance of the rental industry across Europe. It provides an opportunity for companies and associations to act together, raising awareness of the rental sector and its role in driving sustainability and innovation.

  • IPAF Elevation 2024, the UK’s standout event for the powered access industry, is fast approaching. Hosted by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), the annual event will take place on Thursday, 7 November 2024, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

  • IPAF Elevation Switzerland 2024, held in Gränichen, brought together industry experts and professionals for a day of informative sessions, workshops and discussions. Followed by the IPAF Switzerland Awards ceremony, the event covered key developments within IPAF and the industry, training updates, and regulatory changes.

  • The judging panel for this year’s Working at Height Awards, set for November 20 in Nashville, has been confirmed, with five rental and access equipment professionals coming on board to help crown the industry’s best-of-the-best.

  • The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is pleased to announce the release of its updated leaflet on the service, inspection, and maintenance of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). This comprehensive leaflet has been updated to reflect the current industry landscape and is now available in ten languages: English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Chinese simplified, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, and Dutch.

  • The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) successfully hosted the IPAF Asia Conference 2024 on 1-2 August at the Renaissance Nanjing Olympic Centre Hotel. The two-day event brought together over 240 industry professionals from China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Taiwan, to discuss the latest trends emerging across the powered access industry.
