IPAF Celebrated 40 Years at GIS in Piacenza

GIS 2023

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) exhibited at the 9th edition of "Giornate Italiane del Sollevamento" (GIS) exhibition, held from October 5th to 7th, 2023, in Piacenza, Italy. This year's GIS event set new records for the number of exhibitors and visitors.

IPAF celebrated a significant milestone during GIS 2023 - its 40th anniversary. The federation organised an aperitif to celebrate with all the Italian members who joined with great enthusiasm. Peter Douglas, CEO & Managing Director of IPAF, expressed his gratitude, saying, "IPAF's 40 years would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our members. Together, we have achieved incredible advancements in safety and innovation in the powered access industry. It is great to have the opportunity to celebrate together with so many Italian members at GIS".

Safety remains a top priority for IPAF, and at its stand in Piacenza, the federation showcased its High Voltage safety campaign. This initiative emphasizes the importance of safe practices when working near overhead power lines. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about safety measures, access training programs, and engage with IPAF's expert team.
