IAPAs shortlist unveiled ahead of Miami awards celebration

IAPA Award Winners 2017

The shortlisted nominees for the 2018 International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs), jointly hosted by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and Access International, has been unveiled following the judges meeting in London, UK.

The winners of each category plus the Lifetime Achievement and Photograph of the Year awards will be announced at a gala dinner, held on the same day as the annual IPAF Summit at the Hilton Miami Downtown in Florida, USA, on 8 March 2018.

As always, the entries were judged by an independent panel of prominent industry experts with long-standing experience in the business. This year’s judging panel consisted of: Chris Bowers, formerly senior vice president, customer strategy, sales and marketing at NES Rentals; Chris Carmolingo, regional vice president at BlueLine Rental; Ib Steffensen, director of the lift department at BMS; Nick Selley, IPAF President and business development director at AFI-Uplift; and Tobias Ritzenhöfer, director of engineering Teupen Maschinenbau.
