Indian Safety Week
Celebrated on March 4, National safety day India is a little reminder to all the employees to be more committed to safe and sound work culture. IPAF supports Indian National Safety Week's aim and the fact that each year a new theme is chosen to promote safety measures. Concerning this occasion, we would also like to raise awareness about safety procedures that should be undertaken to avoid mishaps and accidents.
The sessions will be run over a series of 4 days starting 28th February to 3rd March.
Webinar sessions:
28 February - MEWP knowledge & training
The session will allow management teams to understand what type of equipment should be selected reverting to the trained and competence of the MEWP user
1 March - Harness & Safety
The session will look at the divide of Restraint harness V’s Fall Arrest, allowing the MEWP user and management team to understand what PPE should be selected for the equipment in hand
2 March - Operator’s Risk
Focusing on the operator’s platform movement allows the operator to understand where his potential risks occur whilst working at height
3 March - MEWP Equipment and Registration
MEWP owners are required to register the equipment with the manufacturer the session will step you through the importance and safety reasons of MEWP registration
