IPAF set for Santiago, Chile, and CONEXPO Latin America 2019

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is heading to Santiago, Chile, to take part in CONEXPO Latin America, for the construction and infrastructure trade show on October 2-5.

On stand B4305 at the event, IPAF will be offering interactive demonstrations on the proper use of fall protection equipment including harnesses and lanyard when working with boom-type mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs and understand how to conduct MEWP pre-use inspections.

There will also be an in-depth introduction to IPAF’s 2019 safety campaign – Get Street Smart! – which highlights the common hazards and how to avoid them when operating MEWPs around roads, traffic and pedestrians.

As usual IPAF’s expert staff will be on hand to answer any questions delegates may have from a safety, technical or training perspective, and will also be handing out leaflets, stickers and other important IPAF publications.

Antonio Barbosa, IPAF’s Ibero-America Regional Manager, who will lead the IPAF team on stand at the CONEXPO Latin America events, comments: “This is an excellent chance to bring together IPAF members and powered access stakeholders at what is a really worthwhile event in the global calendar.

“I invite any visitors to come and see us on Stand B4305, simply to have a coffee and a chat and to find out more about the safe and effective use of powered access and how IPAF can help your business. If you book before 30 September and use code ‘IPAF’ on the CONEXPO Latin America 2019 website you can get free VIP Access to the event.”
