Representatives of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) will attend Dansk Liftmesse 2023, the first expo focused solely on mobile elevating work platforms in Denmark, which will be held in Slagelse, on the island of Zealand, on 11-12 May.

Kent Boström, IPAF’s Representative for the Nordic and Baltic Region, says: “There’s growing demand across the region for IPAF’s ISO-certified MEWP operator training from international contractors, many of which are engaged in building data centres. This type of project has helped drive demand for PAL Cards over recent years, and the ‘safety first’ approach has now spread to a number of other major projects.

“As a result, last year was a record-breaking year for IPAF across the Nordic and Baltic region, boosted by the popularity of the ePAL app for operators and managers. With safety awareness increasing, we want to inform those at Dansk Liftmesse – the first ‘MEWP-only’ event in Denmark – about how IPAF promotes the safe and effective use of MEWPs around the world. We’re excited to meet and network with colleagues and friends in the industry from Denmark and further afield.

“IPAF’s stand will offer free safety and technical advice, including our Don’t Fall For It! and High Voltage! safety campaigns and supporting materials including Andy Access safety posters and Toolbox Talk site briefings. We look forward to seeing you there!”
