Booking opens for first IPAF UK regional meeting of 2018

Members of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) can now book their place at the first UK regional meeting of 2018, which will be hosted at the Holiday Inn, Wakefield on Wednesday 21 February, beginning at 6:30pm

The regional events are an informal opportunity to meet other members and to discuss the role of IPAF and network with other powered access professionals and the range of event speakers. The event is open to all members, colleagues and customers are welcome and are requested to register in advance.

The speakers’ line-up for the North East England and Yorkshire regional meeting comprises: Richard Whiting, IPAF’s UK Market General Manager, and Steve Gerrard, Operations & HR Manager at Lifterz Ltd, giving a welcome address; Gareth Salisbury, UK Sales Manager at D.Tec International Limited, and Paul Mountford, Director of Road Safety Matters at the Community Interest Company (CIC), talking about drugs and alcohol in the workplace; Grant Sharp from Diabetes Awareness on symptoms and complications if the condition is not managed correctly; and Malcolm Bowers, Director of Lifterz Ltd, talking about the changing dynamics of Platform Rental.

Richard Whiting will close the line-up with a general IPAF update, and there will then follow a short Q&A session followed by a buffet and networking.

There is a subsidised charge of £10 (inc VAT) per head for IPAF members, £15 per head for non-members. After registration, registered attendees will be invoiced for the total amount. Book online now for the IPAF UK Regional Meeting.

A further three regional meetings are planned for the UK in 2018 on the following dates, all venues and speakers are yet to be confirmed: 9 May in the North West;
19 September in the South West; and 28 November in the South East.
